may have had two or three P-15's that he named "Fearless"; one with a fixed shoal keel, one
with the standard sloop rig, and one, the first lateen rigged P-15.
Ed Hartwell of Lynn, Massachusetts (near Boston) purchased Brown's sloop rigged P-15 in
December 2009. Shortly after the purchase, in early January 2010, Ed and his friend Kurt Biller
left for the Florida Keys. When they arrived at the first warm spot (A Lowe's Parking Lot in
Jacksonville, FL) they made needed repairs to the poorly maintained boat.
They spent one week sailing in the Keys before returning home to cold weather. Ed is writing
about their sailing in the Keys and I should have the article posted shortly on my website.
Since many of us Potter Owners became enticed into the Potter World by reading and viewing
photos of "Fearless", it is nice that one of Brown's P-15's is still bringing pleasure to it's owner.
