2010 Rocky Mountain Potter Association Sailing Events _______________________________________________________________________________________________ |
The following are three advanced-notice events that the Rocky Mountain Potter
Association has scheduled for the 2010 season. There will be more events,but there will be a
shorter notice given.
Cherry Creek Lake, CO
Saturday June 19th, 10 AM to 2 PM. Meet at north side boat ramp. Give yourself time to get
through the Invasive-Species inspection. Plan on arriving at Park entrance one hour before
meet-up time. We will sail around this impoundments of Cherry Creek and see the
impressive bird life that frequents this lake and the beautiful still-snow covered Rocky
Mountains.
Lake Pueblo, CO, Blow Out
Known for its fierce winds, this event will begin in the waters near the South Marina at 11 AM
on Saturday July 17th.
Aurora Reservoir, CO
This is a very, very clean lake that does not permit motorized watercraft. Picnic facilities also
available. This will meet near the boat ramp on Saturday August 14th at 11 am.
