The sails, both main and jib, are cut down from Hobie 16 sails that I bought from a Hobie Cat Dealer. The main is about 80-sq. ft. and the jib is about 30-sq. ft.

I did all the sewing on our home sewing machine. I lengthened my P-15 boom 12 inches and the mast 24 inches. Both extensions are wood. The mast extension is spruce and the boom extension is Douglas fir closet rod.

Total cost of the change was less than $100. I spent about a week of evening spare time making the modifications.

The boat seems to handle the extra sail quite easily. The helm is more balanced now than it was with my stock Odyssey sail. I have a slight lee helm up to about 4 knots of wind, then neutral helm to about 6 knots, and finally a gradual increase of weather helm as the wind increases above 6 knots. The helm conditions were all with the stock rudder blade fully down and the centerboard fully down.

Performance is subjective, but the way it seemed to me was as follows; compared to Don Persons Sarah Anne: Medium air (4-7), Slightly faster than Don; Drifting air (0-2), even to slightly faster than Don; Light air (2-4), slower than Don.
